You may opt in to an SMS-based Two-Factor Authentication in your account settings. Please refer to the instructions and images below on how to do this.
Web: In the top right corner of the web page on our website, click "Hi, (your name)"
--> "My Account" --> Multi-factor authentication button
Mobile app: Click on the "Account" button in the bottom right corner of the app
--> "Account details" --> Multi-factor authentication button
At this time, Drizly only supports phone-based Two-factor Authentication. In the future we may be able to offer email-based Multi-factor Authentication.
How does this work?
If you opt in, you will receive a verification code via SMS to authenticate all future logins. Keep in mind that without a manual sign-out, you may remain logged in for an extended period of time. Therefore, if you have opted in, you will not go through the 2FA every time you use Drizly.
Please note that you will receive a 2FA challenge if you log in on a new device or change your password.
What if I no longer have the phone associated with my account, and therefore cannot access the verification code to login?
